This is obviously one of the headache that the payment options what freelancer has to choose.
Odesk freelancers are now having 3 options to get Odesk work payment into their pocket.
1.Online bank account
2.US bank accont
3.Odesk credit card
100% sure that all freelancers wish to have a US bank account to get 100% payment without paying any service charge.
But in real many freelancers are living in other countries and which means they don't have it but are eager to have it though.
This idea is only applyed to the freelancers who are living in Japan.
Idea:
By using MJFG service(Your Domestic bank), open the US bank account(Union Bank Of California) for free!!
You have to look at and fill up this form(Form W-8BEN)(PDF) if you are non-US residents.
But there would be similar option that you could open it in your country.Better check it out instead of paying service charge doing nothing!
